Zhi Shu (Zheng Yuan Chang) and Xiang Qin (Lin Yi Chen) have arranged to meet again in Hong Kong, do they intend to continue the story of They Kiss Again? If readers who have watched They Kiss Again before, they would probably know that the ending was left open ended? Because the series didn't mention whether Xiang Qin was pregnant or not --- Jiang Shu Hua or Jiang Zhi Hua, unless they are preparing for the Part 3 of the story?

Even though [They Kiss Again] didn't break the rating record of its predecessor and some might think [It Started With A Kiss] is better. This is because the predecessor story was about their love life while they are still in school, the younger generation will feel more connected to it. But the dept of the story of [They Kiss Again] was even better; it is not easy to move the life of a couple into the TV screen but all their lovey dovey gestures will make everyone smile.
Reporter: Between these two series, which one is your favorite?
Both of them also said [They Kiss Again], so the couple really is sharing the same heart.
Joe: Previously, I acted as a handsome and stylish high school student, but the time span that makes me feel that I've really grow up as a person will be this series, turning from a high school student to a doctor and becoming a husband. This transition is very big compare to my other previous characters.
Ariel: If in the second part, Xiang Qin still continues to pursue the love of her life and still failed while Zhi Shu continues to be the most popular students in school then it will be meaningless to film the second part at all, because the characters' personalities didn't have any changes. So that is why I love how Xiang Qin would want to take the nursing course because of Zhi Shu. She is giving her whole 100% to her marriage and love. In order to be well-matched with her Lao Gong (husband), she wants to become a nurse, this type of cute personality is really hard to get.
Full concentration on intimate scenes
Reporter: Did you find it awkward, when both of you have to film intimate scenes between a couple?
Ariel: Didn't think too much about it during the actual filming, because this is work. I really want to act well in it and I trust Xiao Zhong very much. But when I was watching the series at home, I shouted when I saw those scenes, it was really intimate, my face was burning hot and if I have to film those one more time, I may not be able to accept it.
Joe: We really turned into our characters during the filming, sometimes I heard that when people wanted to film the kissing scene, they will discuss it with the opposition first, mentioning about the place that will be kissed and so on; but Yi Chen and I didn't do any of these rehearsal. We just concentrate fully into our characters. If everything is already firmly set, it will look less professional and not realistic enough and the most grateful of all will be the trust that Yi Chen had in me.
Let the viewers to think about the ending
Reporter: On the internet, there are a lot of [They Kiss Again] viewers who were full of concern because the story goes on about how both of them are hoping to have a child of their own and it turns out that Xiang Qin's night blindness is getting more and more critical and afraid of passing on the disease to their next generation. The ending didn't mention whether the both of them will be expecting their child or not, instead it was showing the arrogant Zhi Shu doing a gesture that represent his love. And that will be helping Xiang Qin to wipe away the manure that she has stepped on. The story ended by having Xiang Qin saying [Feel so Xin Fu. (Happiness)] So I am (the reporter) eager to ask the both of you, are you content with the ending? Is it a way to leave a path for the future part 3?
Joe: We already knew that this might not be the perfect ending in the hearts of the viewers. Everyone wants to see Zhi Shu, Xiang Qin and their next generation lives happily ever after; but isn't it much better to leave a deep impression in everyone with this ending?
Ariel: That's right! Leave it to the viewers to imagine the ending! It can continue to be a beautiful ending or it can be a sorrow ending but to Xiang Qin, having the arrogant Zhi Shu who are willing to wipe the manure off her shoes, that's already the her biggest happiness of all.
Not filming Part 3 for the time being
The main reason will be because the author of the manga passed away due to sickness when she was writing the ending. Everyone had discussed about whether they should continue on with the story? But to respect the author and trying to follow closely to the original plot of the story, so for the time being it will be impossible to have Part 3.
Joe: Maybe after 10 years we will remake [It Started With A Kiss] again, I will reprise the high school student role and Yi Chen will become the cute and silly Xiang Qin and see whether we could used our acting skills to make up for our age?
Ariel: That time we may have to act as the parents instead! But it will be quite fun, so it's a deal then!
After 10 years, both Zheng Yuan Chang and Lin Yi Chen will be 36 years old. Will this best on-screen couple still the main artists in the idol series?
Becomes an author and published her book; wants to go abroad to France
In order to wait for a good script, Lin Yi Chen has rejected the scripts for about 10 idol series that were waiting for her. Even though [Paper Rose] was unable to proceed as plan due to some difficulties but she has used the time span to have a good rest and considering about acting in movies. At the same time, she has also become an author; she has recorded down about her study trip in New York with the title [Lin Yi Chen's New York Bagel Diary]. The book was release 2 months ago and is getting quite a good response. She has watched 11 plays in the New York, taking drama classes and the best of all will be Yi Chen's smiles are even more beautiful.
True love still hasn't shows up
Yi Chen laughed and said: [That was a very beautiful memory, it was back it 2006, that time I've just finished all the ongoing work so I've apply my holiday leaves from my manager and leave the acting environment to become, another Lin Yi Chen.] Why she only published the book after 2 years later? She smiles to me and said: [Because after I've came back to Taiwan, I've take on 2 TV series already and 20% content of the book still hasn't finished recorded down yet; so everyone has to wait until now to read about my study trip.] Yi Chen gave it a thought and said her [Next stop] will be France, [Really want to go to the Aix-en-Provence in France because that place is full of colors; but still don't know when I will have the chance to go there yet.]
I once remembered that she said she hopes that after she gets married she will want to got abroad and study together with her husband. Why she has changed it into her next target in life? Yi Chen felt a bit helpless and said: [That's because this person still hasn't shows up yet, so I will have to make this hope into [two routes]; of course, I still every much want to hold the hands of my another half to go study abroad and to have our honeymoon together as well!]
Aftermath
We always said artists [Won't reveal 3], meaning you won't see them before 3 in the afternoon because they are usually [night people]. The time they've finishes work, those time will belongs only to them so normally they will go to sleep during the wee morning. But Zheng Yuan Chang and Lin Yi Chen are exceptionals, this interview started at10:30am, but the both of them were already done with their hair and make-up , finished with their breakfast and they were sitting in the dining room of the presidential suite waiting for me and the photographer to arrive. Both of them looked very well rested and didn't say they are not in their best form because of having to wake up at 7am. So this has influence me, who have been busy finishing my reports until late last night before coming to this interview session, to be in my best form too!
The most important criteria for the artists will be [professional], their hard-work and focus are really something that I should praised again and again.
