New Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng Collaboration - Love or Bread. Da S out of the Picture

Noble posture and a high price tag, Da S has finally "Ti Dao Tei Ban" ! ( meet obstacle)

The GTV idol drama Love or Bread starring Da S and Joe Cheng replaced the female leading role that cast Da S by Ariel Lin. Da S cited the reason of schedule's conflict with her movie's project. Another speculation is that the character of the role she would play in the Love or Bread were way to "Villagers" that needed to only wear blue and white shoes and gain weight. Da S is not allowed herself to downgrade from the proclaimed princess to the character in the drama.

GTV drama will begin shooting in August. It has costumes set up and made the posters. Da S sudden dropout gave GTV headache. It was learned that the reasons for the dropout are the character of "Zhen Shan Mei", a poor girl who only wears a pair of 20 bucks blue-white shoes and would knee down to count money on the ground. Upon hearing director Lin ask her to gain weight, Da S painfully consider to give up the role.

Ariel Chen is not afraid of being compared

Both of them also said [They Kiss Again], so the couple really is sharing the same heart.

Joe: Previously, I acted as a handsome and stylish high school student, but the time span that makes me feel that I've really grow up as a person will be this series, turning from a high school student to a doctor and becoming a husband. This transition is very big compare to my other previous characters.

Ariel: If in the second part, Xiang Qin still continues to pursue the love of her life and still failed while Zhi Shu continues to be the most popular students in school then it will be meaningless to film the second part at all, because the characters' personalities didn't have any changes. So that is why I love how Xiang Qin would want to take the nursing course because of Zhi Shu. She is giving her whole 100% to her marriage and love. In order to be well-matched with her Lao Gong (husband), she wants to become a nurse, this type of cute personality is really hard to get.

Full concentration on intimate scenes
Reporter: Did you find it awkward, when both of you have to film intimate scenes between a couple?

Ariel: Didn't think too much about it during the actual filming, because this is work. I really want to act well in it and I trust Xiao Zhong very much. But when I was watching the series at home, I shouted when I saw those scenes, it was really intimate, my face was burning hot and if I have to film those one more time, I may not be able to accept it.

Joe: We really turned into our characters during the filming, sometimes I heard that when people wanted to film the kissing scene, they will discuss it with the opposition first, mentioning about the place that will be kissed and so on; but Yi Chen and I didn't do any of these rehearsal. We just concentrate fully into our characters. If everything is already firmly set, it will look less professional and not realistic enough and the most grateful of all will be the trust that Yi Chen had in me.

Let the viewers to think about the ending
Reporter: On the internet, there are a lot of [They Kiss Again] viewers who were full of concern because the story goes on about how both of them are hoping to have a child of their own and it turns out that Xiang Qin's night blindness is getting more and more critical and afraid of passing on the disease to their next generation. The ending didn't mention whether the both of them will be expecting their child or not, instead it was showing the arrogant Zhi Shu doing a gesture that represent his love. And that will be helping Xiang Qin to wipe away the manure that she has stepped on. The story ended by having Xiang Qin saying [Feel so Xin Fu. (Happiness)] So I am (the reporter) eager to ask the both of you, are you content with the ending? Is it a way to leave a path for the future part 3?

Joe: We already knew that this might not be the perfect ending in the hearts of the viewers. Everyone wants to see Zhi Shu, Xiang Qin and their next generation lives happily ever after; but isn't it much better to leave a deep impression in everyone with this ending?

Ariel: That's right! Leave it to the viewers to imagine the ending! It can continue to be a beautiful ending or it can be a sorrow ending but to Xiang Qin, having the arrogant Zhi Shu who are willing to wipe the manure off her shoes, that's already the her biggest happiness of all.

Not filming Part 3 for the time being
The main reason will be because the author of the manga passed away due to sickness when she was writing the ending. Everyone had discussed about whether they should continue on with the story? But to respect the author and trying to follow closely to the original plot of the story, so for the time being it will be impossible to have Part 3.

Joe: Maybe after 10 years we will remake [It Started With A Kiss] again, I will reprise the high school student role and Yi Chen will become the cute and silly Xiang Qin and see whether we could used our acting skills to make up for our age?

Ariel: That time we may have to act as the parents instead! But it will be quite fun, so it's a deal then!


After 10 years, both Zheng Yuan Chang and Lin Yi Chen will be 36 years old. Will this best on-screen couple still the main artists in the idol series?

Becomes an author and published her book; wants to go abroad to France
In order to wait for a good script, Lin Yi Chen has rejected the scripts for about 10 idol series that were waiting for her. Even though [Paper Rose] was unable to proceed as plan due to some difficulties but she has used the time span to have a good rest and considering about acting in movies. Both of them looked very well rested and didn't say they are not in their best form because of having to wake up at 7am. So this has influence me, who have been busy finishing my reports until late last night before coming to this interview session, to be in my best form too!

Chen Qiao En and Ethan Ruan Film Fated To Love You's Tragic Scene in the Rain

Yesterday, SETTV drama Fated To Love You filmed their "car accident in the rain" scene. Joe Chen QiaoEn, clad in a white dress, is hit by a car during a heavy rainstorm.
(Translator's Note: Have purposely omitted to translate the remainder of this paragraph; it is about QiaoEn's white dress becoming transparent in the rain and the danger of her exposure, despite some precautionary steps she took, including wearing an extra layer beneath the dress. Basically, trash and flash.)

In order to make the accident seem as lifelike as possible, the director requested that Chen QiaoEn climb up onto the hood of the car and fall and tumble heavily to the ground. Chen QiaoEn's arms and legs were covered in scrapes and bruises as a result of her flipping and falling, and she caught a cold from being soaked with rain on such a cold day. She also narrowly avoided a wardrobe mishap that would have revealed the nipples of her D-cups to all those present. All in all, the disasters she met with on set that day made her seem as miserable as her character in the series, Chen XinYi.

This particular scene is, out of all the scenes QiaoEn has filmed thus far in the eight years of her career, by far, the most tragic. The drama plotline has progressed to the point where QiaoEn (XinYi), in order to allow the pair of lovers, Ethan Ruan JingTian (CunXi) and Bianca Bai XinHui (Anna), to stay together, resolves to bow completely out of their delicate little love triangle. Consequently, she purposely avoids Ethan and hides from him, determined not to let him find her. It is on a rainy day that Ethan, after much hardship, finally finds QiaoEn. Focused completely on running away from Ethan, she accidentally runs into the street and is struck by a car, falling to the ground.

The recent crying scenes in Fated To Love You have evoked a similarly emotional, crying response from the audience. This scene follows on the heels of the one from last week, which showed Ethan crying. It has been reported that the film editor sent a text message to QiaoEn to tell her that he was crying as he put the "car accident" scene together; we can expect that the "crying factor" will be raised another level!

This is another scene worth waiting for. I could not believe it when I first saw this news. Seems to it that they're sticking with the plotlines from the novel. Where Xin Yi will have miscarriage because of the car accident and that's the reason why she will go with Dylan in Shanghai.....ok so much for spoilers. Don't get mad if you got spoiled. I had the alert up from the top! Can't wait for the next episode.

In this city, there is a "stick here stick there" love story…

The story starts from a girl whose type is common throughout Asia.

This is a very subtle change, of the two people who lived under the same roof but has nothing to do with each other, slowly started interacting due to the trivia matters that happened in their lives. Xin Yi moved into Chun Xi's bedroom under granny's request and Chun Xi then went to the guest room to sleep under a pretext. But he slowly discovered that he doesn't like the loneliness of sleeping alone and would often go back to his original room in the middle of the night. After some time, sleeping with someone by his side became a habit. The Chun Xi who doesn't like to return home for dinner started to return home regularly and the Chun Xi who vowed not to help in anything also started to shop for baby's wallpapers and children toys.

When they thought that they are happy, the ticking time bomb Anna who had been kept in the dark returned. When I said that I’m not expecting to like it, I wasn’t really.

I was just waiting for the English sub of my other favorite Taiwan drama, It Started With a Kiss 2 – They Kiss Again and decided to see other drama that was recommended to watch from my favorite site, mysoju.com. I’ve checked out all the dramas and decided to watch Fated To Love You for the sole reason that I’ve seen Mei Lin the main girl,Chen Qiao En on one of the telenovelas here (in the Philippines)as started by Richard Gutierrez called “Sugo”. Oh! So much of an introduction! So here are now the stars of Fated To Love You, Chen Qiao En (as Chen Xi Yi) and Ethan Ruan (as Ji Cun Xi) as they promote their new drama uploaded last February 14, with English sub. Enjoy!
